Simon Xavier Guerrand-Hermès
Simon Xavier Guerrand-Hermès, Founder and Chairman of the GHFP's Board of Trustees, was the Vice Chairman of Hermès of Paris, and board member of Hermès International. He is also the Chairman of Eden Development. Simon Xavier completed his graduate studies in Harvard Divinity School with a focus on religion and spirituality. He also holds an Honorary Fellowship at the Oxford University. He served as the Treasurer of Religions for Peace for a number of years. In 2006, he was awarded the Officer of the National Order of the Legion of Honour in France.
   
 
Sharif Istvan Horthy      
 
Sharif Istvan Horthy
Sharif Istvan Horthy, co-founder and Vice Chairman of the GHFP's Board of Trustees, was born in Hungary, and is the grandson of Admiral Horthy (Regent of Hungary 1920-1944). He studied physics at Oxford University and civil engineering at Imperial College. At 25, Sharif embraced Islam. He has worked as a civil engineer and businessman in Britain, Indonesia and the USA. He is currently living in the UK. Sharif is also on the advisory board of the Three Faiths Forum, and a Trustee of the Museum of World Religions (UK).
     
 
Alexandra Asseily      
 
Alexandra Asseily
As witness of the pain of the civil war in Lebanon, Alexandra explored her own responsibility for war and for peace. She became a psychotherapist. She is a governor and founder of the Centre for Lebanese Studies, Oxford, a founding member of the Ara Pacis Initiative, and a former member of the Advisory Board of the Center for the Study of World Religions at Harvard University. In 1998 Alexandra initiated Hadiqat As-Samah, the Garden of Forgiveness, in downtown Beirut. She is actively involved in the Healing the Wounds of History Programmes worldwide.
     
 
Prof. Patrice Brodeur      
 
Prof. Patrice Brodeur
Prof. Patrice Brodeur is the Senior Adviser at the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue. He previously held the Canada Research Chair on Islam, Pluralism and Globalisation at the University of Montreal. Patrice completed his doctorate studies at Harvard University. Recently, he completed a 3-week tour of 6 Arab countries to lecture on Pluralism in Canada and in Islam, organised by the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is author of several books and numerous articles including a book entitled 'Towards a Pluralist Paradigm: Religion and Democracy in the 21st century'.
     
 
Hubert Guerrand-Hermes      
 
Hubert Guerrand-Hermès (1940 - 2016)
Hubert Guerrand-Hermès studied law before he stepped into the management of the Hermès Group. He was the Vice-Chairman of Hermès Holding Emile Hermès, and the General Manager of Hermès Group's real estate companies. Hubert was formerly the Foreign Trade Adviser to the French Goverment. Amongst other roles, he was also Treasurer of Société des Amis du Musée National d'Art Moderne de Paris, and board member of L'Edition Artistique. In 1999, he was awarded the Officer of the National Order of the Legion of Honour in France. Mr Guerrand-Hermès had been an important support to the work of the GHFP and his passing has been a huge loss for the Foundation.
     
 
Isni Astuti Horthy      
 
Isni Astuti Horthy
Isni Astuti Horthy is a professional translator with a background in Javanese spirituality. She has dedicated her life to translating the words of Muhammad Subuh Sumohadiwidjojo, a Javanese spiritual leader and the founder of Subud, an international interfaith movement. Isni's work focuses on articulating how individual's inner and spiritual experiences can have application in our everyday lives in the world.
     
 
Muhammad Ridwan      
 
Muhammad Ridwan
Muhammad Ridwan is an Indonesian businessman specialising in investment and property development. He is a successful entrepreneur and has been actively encouraging social enterprises and development projects in Indonesia. Muhammad serves as the Chairman of Subud Indonesia, an interfaith spiritual community. His philanthropic work largely focuses on supporting the individual's spiritual growth, especially the growth and development of young people.

Prof. Garrett Thomson      
 
Garrett Thomson
Garrett is the GHFP's Chief Executive Officer. He received his PhD from the Oxford University. Currently he is the Compton Professor of Philosophy at the College of Wooster, USA. Garrett is the author of many books, including 'On meaning of life' and 'Needs'. He was formerly the CEO of the World Subud Association in 2005-2010.
     
 
Dr. Scherto Gill      
 
Scherto Gill
Scherto is the GHFP's Executive Secretary and Research Fellow. Trained in social research, Scherto has led many investigations for the GHFP and has written extensively in the field of education, narrative studies and peacebuilding. Scherto is also a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Sussex where she also teaches social research methodology and methods.

Laura Hobson      
 
Laura Hobson
Laura is the GHFP's Administrator. She has previously worked as HR Manager and has been the Director of a HR company in England. Laura is responsible for the day-to-day running of the GHFP and provides administrative support to the research team.
